About Coworking Spain
Coworking Spain is the reference platform for flexible workspaces in Spain — a trusted resource for freelancers, startups, and remote workers looking to find and book coworking spaces across the country. Beyond its directory, the platform runs industry events and the annual Coworking Spain Conference, making it as much a community as a marketplace.
The platform started as a spontaneous idea that quickly took off. After being invited to a European conference, Manuel created a simple list of coworking spaces in Spain. Word spread quickly, and soon people were asking to be added to the directory. To keep up, he built an automated system so spaces could register themselves.
The Coworking Spain Conference came together in a similarly serendipitous way. Manuel made a flyer on Facebook to promote the event before he even had a venue or date. The response was so enthusiastic that he went ahead and organized the event. This lean, flexible approach has been key to Coworking Spain's success, allowing it to adapt to new opportunities without big upfront investments.
I've been with Quaderno basically since the product first launched. I initially used it as a freelancer, and when I started my business in 2018, continuing with Quaderno was an easy transition. It's been my faithful invoicing companion every step of the way on my business journey.
The challenge
Before using Quaderno, Manuel managed invoices the old-fashioned way: manually in Excel. It was slow, prone to mistakes, and created risks of delays or compliance issues. As Coworking Spain grew, so did the workload — and it was clear he needed a smarter, more reliable system.
The solution
Quaderno helped Manuel automate invoices, integrate with systems he was already using, and stay compliant with legal requirements. Manuel started using Quaderno when he was just a freelancer with an idea, and continued using the app as his business evolved into a company.
Results
With Quaderno handling invoicing from start to finish, Manuel hardly has to worry about it anymore. The platform has streamlined the entire invoice management process, delivering:
- 10+ years of hassle-free invoicing
- A smooth transition from freelancer to company in 2018
- Automation that saves time and eliminates costly errors
Thanks to Quaderno, Manuel can dedicate his time to what matters most: growing the coworking community and driving the industry forward across Spain.
