We’re pleased to announce Quaderno Checkout, a new checkout form designed to help our users to be EU VAT compliant easily and simply.
That’s no easy feat, as you’ll know if you’ve been operating in the EU since the VAT rules changed back in January 2015. VAT is now based on your customer’s location, rather than yours. That leaves you figuring out up to 75 different rates of VAT as you work and dealing with a system that means you have to keep data on your customers for 10 years and have proof of their location.
