A Small Story
In 1494, Luca Pacioli laid the foundations of modern accounting in a book in which, among many other interesting topics, he explains the accounting techniques existing at the moment. He also talks about Quaderno, the main ledger that encompasses the whole merchant’s accounting.
And here we are six centuries later, trying to ratchet things up a notch in the accounting world by offering an easy billing tool.
We made Quaderno because we wanted to spend more time doing what we really like, not paperwork.
Meet The Team
He is a film buff, loves tea and is a hopeless traveller. His main hope has always been to create simple products that make our lives a lives a little bit easier. He also defines the functional design of Quaderno as it organizes his daily development. Any one of these days you will find him having a walk around your town.
When he is not cycling around the town or trying to beat his record of swimming 3,000 meters in an hour, Pablo is developing the graphic aspect and the precise details of Quaderno. He is crazy about cars and fonts, but he is also our DJ during working hours.
Jose loves details that make our lives easier and he is an early adopter of almost any device or technology. He must be the only one among his friends that still has a Newton MessagePad 100 (what a nerd!). In Quaderno, he is in charge of designing interaction and layout, the vague field between looks and programming.
A part-time illustrator and guitarist, and being a determined and self-critical person, John develops functionalities of Quaderno and solves incidences with a blow from a pull request. He would turn crazy without a music player with a playlist, and that is why you will always see him wearing his headphones.
